  • Post Graduation Work Permit

    International students who complete an eligible post-secondary program of study at a Canadian designated learning institution may apply for a Post Graduation Work Permit (PGWP).   This permit is an Open Work Permit allowing international students to work with any employer and in any job in Canada. There is no requirement for a LMIA, or a confirmation of job offer to apply for a PGWP.   • Bridging Open Work Permit

    The bridging open work permit (BOWP) enables a worker in Canada, to continue working while his or her application for permanent residence is being processed. In-Canada applicants who have applied for permanent residence under one of the eligible economic immigration programs, may be considered for a bridging open work permit.
