Canada Express Entry is the online system that the Canadian government uses to manage applications for skilled foreign workers who want to become permanent residents of Canada. It enables eligible candidates to submit a profile to the Canadian government, for consideration for one of the three economic immigration programs that is part of the Canada Express Entry system:

  • Federal Skilled Worker
  • Federal Skilled Trades
  • Canadian Experience Class

Eligible candidates for one of the three economic immigration programs enter the Express Entry Canada pool and are then assessed and given a Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS). The score is based on multiple factors including age, work experience, education, and language proficiency. IRCC regularly holds Canada Express Entry draws where the highest-ranking candidates are invited to apply for permanent residence.
